Taken on-site with an NGO in Puerto Colombia near Barranquilla in Colombia. I was with an NGO that specializes in constructing "emergency homes" for those most in need, in poverty stricken areas. This young girl briefly passed the site we were working on to make her way down to the wooden slum below. I identified the shot from a distance and ran swiftly but calmy so as to not alarm the girl, I got her attention for all of about 2 seconds to compose and photograph her. No room for errors, this was the only photograph I managed to get of her before she continued making her way down the slope.
